The Nolan Team is celebrating the 2023 Holiday Season by making a donation to the St. Louis-based Bi-State Pet Food Pantry. The organization’s mission is to keep animals and their guardians together during financially difficult times by providing emergency assistance with pet food.
About the Bi-State Pet Food Pantry
The organization’s founders, Sandy and Kylie, both had careers in social work and public relations and witnessed the need for charity every day. However, they couldn’t help noticing that while there were many organizations providing assistance to families in need of food, clothing, and housing, one family member in particular was continually overlooked – the family pet.
Unfortunately, many families are forced to surrender their pets due to unforeseen circumstances. That’s why Sandy and Kylie made it their mission to ensure that families would be able to feed their pets. They began distributing pet food in 2010 and now with the assistance of over 50 volunteers, the Bi-State Pet Food Pantry is actively assisting over 200 families each month.
