The inspiration for this award comes from a phrase often used by our founder, Pat Nolan: “pick and shovel work.” For Pat, this phrase is a reminder that meaningful results come from rolling up your sleeves, staying the course, tackling challenges head-on, paying attention to detail with a sense of urgency, and maintaining a “make it happen” mentality.
The Pick and Shovel Award isn’t just about recognizing outstanding performance. It’s about honoring the spirit of teamwork, resilience, and a steadfast dedication to both our clients and each other. It symbolizes the determination it takes to navigate complex transactions and unearth solutions in areas where others aren’t willing to explore
This year, at our annual holiday party, we were thrilled to present the very first Pick and Shovel Award to Sean Sullivan. Sean embodies the values this award represents, consistently going above and beyond to support our clients and inspire those around him. Whether it’s tackling a challenging deal, mentoring colleagues, or simply bringing positivity to the office, Sean’s contributions make him a true cornerstone of our team.
